ROY ADAMSKI, RPH, MBA Vice President
Roy has over 22 years of experience in the health care field, the last 7 years in the area of home infusion. Heworked for the Franciscan Sisters Care Corporation where he held positions of Director of Phramacy (1975-87) and Vice President at St.Anthony Hospital, advancing to Vice President of clinical services at St.Joseph Hospital, Elgin, Illinois from 1987-1993. He helped start and was General Manager of Extended Home Infusion Services, a home health agency and Care Tech in 1994. After EHIS was sold in 1998 he became General Manager of Care Tech Home Infusion.
SHILPA BAXAMUSA, PharmD Clinical Pharmacist
Shilpa graduated in 1984 with her PharmD from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Phramacy. Her career started as a hospital pharmacist at Lutheran General Hospital and has taken her to Yale and Bridgeport Hospitals in Conneticut. Shilpa has served on numerous hospital committees including the Pharmacy and Therapeutics and Antibiotic subcommittee. She has over 7 years of hospital experience. Her in depth clinical knowledge of antibiotics and paternal nutrition are a real asset in managing home health care patients. She enjoys collaborating with nurses and physicians to allow the best possible outcomes for patients.
CAROL KING, RN, BSN, CRNI VP Nursing Systems
Carol has been involved in home health care for her entire nursing career. She was one of the first nurses to be involved in the care of home TPN patients and many subsequent high tech hospital therapies administered in the home. Carol was VP of Clinical services with Care Tech, a successful former independent home infusion company in Elmhurst, IL. Carol has held positions as the Manager of Patient Services, Nursing Administrator for the Chicago branch and Midwest Nursing Manager for Caremark. Previously, she worked at Lutheran General Hospital as a discharge planner and homecare nurse. She also worked as a consultant home care surveyor with the Joint COmmission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
VICKI FUKA, RN
Vicki's background in home infusion nursing spans 14 years and from field nurse to Director level. She began her infusion career as a hi-tech field nurse administering IV medications to patients in their homes. As an employee of Caremark Home Infusion she held positions of QA Nurse, Admissions Nurse and Supervisor. At Resurrection Home Health Care, she began as Infusion Supervisor and on to Director of Infusion Services with responsibilities for all aspects of their home IV program.
BILL HONIOTES President, Owner
Bill has over 26 years of sales and marketing experience with 22 of those in the health care field. As the Vice President of Marketing for Care Tech Home Infusion from 1995-2001, he has been successful in marketing customized infusion services and developing strong relationships with hospital and communicty based nursing agencies. He helped develop and market the "Comprehensive Care" independent "one-stop-shop" concept along with a local independent HME company and nursing agency. Prior to Care Tech, Bill held the position of Senior Territory Sales Manager with B.Braun/Burron Medical for 10 years.
